Sean Vincent

Research Fellow

Sean is a Research Fellow within the School of Business, primarily working on the ESRC funded project: 'Activating employers: the politics of regulation in the UK, the US and Australia'.

Prior to joining the School of Business, Sean's research focused on political campaigning on new media, political party organisation and comparative politics, with a specialization in UK and Japanese politics. From 2014-2017 he worked as a Research Assistant on a ESRC funded project on political party organisation at the University of Susex and was a member of the Political Party Database working group.

Sean gained a PhD in Politics from the University of Sussex and spent several years lecturing in political science and intercultural studies at Meiji Gakuin University and Nihon Unersity. He has had works published in international peer-reviewed journals and a number of chapters in Japanese language books.
